β€œKeir Starmer’s government is sacrificing millions of working-class votes for the Labour Party on the altar of big business profits, militarism and war”, Communist Party General Secretary Robert Griffiths told our Party’s Political Committee on Tuesday evening (27 May 2025).

β€œScores of billions of pounds extra can be found for more nuclear weapons, to assist Israel’s genocidal destruction of the Palestinian people and to prolong the barbaric war in Ukraine”, he accused, β€œwhile Labour uses its 160-plus majority in the House of Commons to deny relative petty cash to pensioners, poor families and people with disabilities”.

Every branch meeting of the Coventry and Warwickshire Communist Party includes a political education session.
